Boston Children Selects Trans Health HQ as Keynote Speaker for Transgender Day of Visibility Celebration

Founder Ivan Hsiao presented “Visibility in the Face of Crisis: Building a Future Worth Living For” at Boston Children's Transgender Day of Visibility celebration.

The keynote address marked the conclusion to the hospital’s programming for LGBTQ+ Health Equity Month. Hsiao engaged hundreds of clinicians all over Boston Children’s Hospital around gender health equity and the role of clinicians in and out of the healthcare setting to advocate for trans and gender expansive patients. Boston Children’s has hisorically concluded LGBTQ+ Health Equity Month by hosting a trans speaker on Trans Day of Visibility.

The event was in collaboration with Boston Children’s Rainbow Alliance and the Office of Health Equity and Inclusion.
