TransPride YOUniting Health & Wellness Conference Accepts Trans Health HQ for Presentation

Product & Analytics Lead Morgan Willison presented at the 2025 TransPride YOUniting Health & Wellness Conference with findings from their senior thesis Beyond Surgery & Hormones: Community Specific Gender-Affirming Care, Research, & Innovation. Their presentation focused on the need for gender-affirming care to be community-based and accessible. She explored how leading clinics around the world extend gender-affirming care beyond hormones and surgery by integrating social services, patient education, and community-led research. These clinics show that authentic community engagement and culturally specific care aren’t just “add-ons” but essential components of equitable healthcare.

At Trans Health HQ, this same philosophy drives our work. We’re building the infrastructure for dignified, accessible, and community-informed care, transforming generations of informal trans health networks into formal systems that connect patients, providers, and public health agencies. Like the clinics in Morgan’s research, we believe that gender-affirming care should meet people where they are—rooted in trust, guided by evidence, and shaped by the lived experiences of the communities it serves.

The 10th annual TransPride YOUniting Health & Wellness Conference offered 3 days of professional continuing education for medical practitioners and students. It also featured community-focused content, free to all Transgender, Nonbinary, and Gender Diverse community members (18+) and their immediate caregivers, allowing full access to all content.
